https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1097

The article explores the potential of using artificial intelligence tools, particularly ChatGPT, in the process of teaching English to students of non-philological specialities. It outlines key distinctions between language instruction for philology students and that for students of other disciplines, including limited classroom hours, a predominant focus on domain-specific terminology, insufficient motivation to learn the language, and varying levels of language proficiency. In this context, ChatGPT is regarded as an innovative digital assistant that can support the development of essential language skills-listening, reading, writing, and speaking-within a personalized and adaptive learning environment. The article presents examples of using ChatGPT to generate specialized lexical and grammatical exercises, foster academic writing, improve reading comprehension of professional texts, and prepare oral presentations. The pedagogical advantages of ChatGPT are highlighted, including flexible access, content personalization, continuous language practice, instant feedback, and a reduced fear of making mistakes in communication. At the same time, certain limitations are addressed, such as the lack of emotional interaction, challenges in interpreting context, and insufficient recognition of cultural nuances. The study concludes that ChatGPT should be viewed not as a replacement for traditional instruction but as a powerful complement to it. Integrating this tool into the educational process enhances learner motivation, promotes autonomy, and contributes to the development of sustainable communicative competencies in the context of digital transformation in higher education.
Olena Oleksandrivna Harkusha

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1098

The article explores the conceptual foundations of therapy involving soft toys and characterizes their psycho-emotional impact. It presents an original therapeutic approach based on the interaction between a child and a soft toy called Upanchyk the Bear. Upanchyk was created as a special emotional-therapeutic tool that acts as a mediator between the child’s inner world and the external environment. It symbolizes unconditional support, safety, and trust, becoming a «friend» to embrace during emotionally difficult moments.
The method is grounded in the integration of play therapy, body-oriented practices, and an empathetic approach. Tactile interaction with Upanchyk activates the child’s internal resources, reduces psycho-emotional tension, and enhances overall mood. The article introduces an innovative approach to the psycho-emotional support of preschool and early primary school-aged children – therapeutic engagement with Upanchyk the Bear.
This method is a synthesis of current trends in applied psychology, including play therapy, body-oriented techniques, elements of art therapy, and empathy-based practices. The teddy bear serves as a symbol of safety, acceptance, and support, helping the child release suppressed emotions and overcome internal tension, fears, and anxiety. Through tactile interaction with the toy, the child gains the opportunity to form a stable emotional bond that activates self-regulation mechanisms, fosters emotional intelligence, builds trust in adults, and promotes internal dialogue.
As part of an experimental study involving children aged 4 to 8, statistically significant results were observed, including reduced anxiety levels, improved social adaptation, better sleep regulation, decreased aggression, and an overall increase in emotional comfort. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the method, which can be used as a tool for early psychological prevention and support for children experiencing emotionally challenging life circumstances, including crisis and post-traumatic conditions.
The method is recommended for use by psychologists, educators, and social pedagogues in preschools, primary schools, psychological support centers, inclusive resource centers, and rehabilitation institutions.
Oksana Fedorivna Grytsiuta

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1099

The main components of the spiritual and moral competence of pedagogical workers of secondary education institutions are defined and substantiated within the framework of the scientific article. Technologies for the development and effectiveness of the process of pedagogical support for the formation of spiritual and moral competence of the personality of pedagogical workers are formulated. The concept of competence is revealed in a wide semantic range: as a set of knowledge, abilities, skills and methods of action of an individual in the context of a certain subject, field of knowledge, which are formed in the process of learning and serve as a means of achieving the goal of learning - the development of spiritual and moral competence.
The problems of developing spiritual and moral competence in training and in the ability and need to live and work according to national spiritual and moral norms are determined; spiritual and moral development of a specialist through awareness of the Source of spirituality and morality; the formation of a responsible attitude towards oneself, members of one's family, community, society, teaching activities and results based on spiritual and moral values; the use of appropriate technologies of spiritual and moral behavior to strengthen personal, family and public spiritual health; awareness of the risks that spiritual apathy leads to for one's own health and behavior, the health and behavior of others.
The importance of pedagogical support for the process of developing spiritual and moral competence of pedagogical workers is emphasized in that this process is aimed not at developing adaptation mechanisms in a future specialist, but at preparing a person for spiritual and moral, responsible, spiritual and active solutions to emerging problems in new, including unstable crisis conditions in the country today.
Pavlo Grigoryovych Drozd

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1100

The article examines the pedagogical heritage of outstanding ancient Greek philosophers of the classical period (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle) and analyzes the possibilities introducing its most effective technologies into the theory and practice of the modern educational process. The author provides an exhaustive description of the ancient thinkers’ approaches to the educational problem, based on their ideological and general philosophical foundations. Self-knowledge and the interrogative method of Socrates, the systematic and social orientation of Plato's pedagogy, Aristotelian attention to the development of natural abilities of any person and his idea of the need for education for all citizens – these principles not only do not lose their effectiveness to this day, but are becoming increasingly relevant in connection with the need for humanization and individualization of the educational process. Therefore, it is no coincidence that they were in the focus of our research attention, both from a philosophical and pedagogical point of view.
Halyna Oleksandrivna DiakovskaOlga Georgiyvna AliievaSergiy Sergiyovych Kopiyko

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1101

The purpose of scientific research is to determine the main features of the modern generation of student youth and analyze their impact on the effectiveness of learning. Changes in the digital generation compared to their predecessors are identified. The main consequences of the information revolution for the digital generation are analyzed (clipped thinking, multitasking, development of a special language, decreased memory quality, reduced attention span, etc.). It is noted that these changes are the response of the consciousness of modern people to a significant increase in the flow of information. A decrease in the threshold of critical thinking in modern schoolchildren and students is noted, their weakening of responsibility for their actions, their absent-mindedness, hyperactivity, attention deficit and the preference of visual symbols over logic and immersion in the text, a total unwillingness to remember anything.
Based on the analysis, the main signs of a person who is Internet-addicted are determined: good health or euphoria at the computer; inability to stop; increase in the amount of time spent at the computer; neglect of family and friends; feeling empty, depressed, irritated when not at the computer; lying to employers or family members about one’s activities; problems with work or study.
In addition, other features of the digital generation of modern youth were analyzed, which may affect the effectiveness of their learning and socialization (global thinking, tolerance, rapid adaptation to new technologies, multitasking, attraction to daily notes on social networks, anxiety of not being connected, decreased empathy and social intelligence, information overload, etc.).
Yevheniy Anatoliyovych Zelenov

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1103

The article proves that the problem of developing critical thinking of future social workers in the conditions of a pedagogical university remains insufficiently studied, and the formed critical thinking skills of social specialists will ensure their adoption of the most optimal decisions and ensure the fulfillment of all the envisaged functions of this profession. Critical thinking is defined as logical (correct), reflective thinking, focused on a reasonable consideration of various approaches to making a well-founded, reasoned, balanced decision regarding any judgment, a certain problem, which includes an assessment of the thinking process itself. B. Bloom's taxonomy is considered as one of the effective tools for diagnosing and developing critical thinking. Readiness for planning, flexibility, perseverance, readiness to correct one's mistakes, awareness, and search for compromise solutions are highlighted as key characteristics of the formation of critical thinking in a person. The expediency of using such forms and techniques in the development of critical thinking in students of a pedagogical university as the use of complex trainings, critical thinking strategies and simulations is substantiated; formation of visual thinking; formation of inductive thinking, the ability to doubt statements and hypotheses; use of step-by-step problem-solving strategies within the framework of debates; study of interdisciplinary subjects through critical thinking; writing a critical analysis of a text, etc.
Serhii Volodymyrovych KonoshenkoNataliia Anatoliivna KonoshenkoInna Vasylivna Trubnyk

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1113

The article explores the axiological potential of art as a key factor in the formation and preservation of spiritual and cultural values of modern society. The need to move from a narrowly aesthetic perception of art to its consideration as an effective tool of value socialization aimed at the development of moral self-identification of the individual and strengthening the collective cultural code is substantiated. An interdisciplinary approach is applied in the course of the work: philosophical and hermeneutic analysis of the concepts of axiology and creativity, culturological reflection of the phenomenon of sacred and public art, as well as a pedagogical review of the practices of introducing the artistic component into educational programs. The mechanisms of value actualization (symbolic, emotional-perceptual and reflective) are identified, through which artistic images transform individual and collective experience, contributing to the development of critical thinking, ethical sensitivity and existential reflection. Particular attention is paid to the role of sacred art in supporting spiritual continuity and public art as a means of strengthening cultural identity and solidarity.
The results of the study confirm that the systematic inclusion of artistic practice in socio-cultural and educational policies creates conditions for sustainable and humanistically oriented development, acting as a reliable barrier against spiritual disorientation and value fragmentation characteristic of postmodernity.
Nataliia Serhiivna Sidash

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1114

The proposed article presents a study of B. Spinoza's philosophy of education and its modern interpretations, which are relevant both from a scientific and socio-humanitarian point of view, since they propose principles of education based on rational cognition, freedom of thought and moral development. It is shown that the idea of education being based on rational thinking is relevant for modern cognitive sciences that study how knowledge and critical thinking are formed. It is considered that Spinoza's naturalistic understanding of man correlates with modern neuroscience and behavioral biology. His ideas resonate with research on the influence of emotions, reason, and environment on learning. It is proven that the actualization of the need for logic and the deductive method of learning by Spinoza and his followers is reflected in modern methods of STEM education (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The study of Spinoza's philosophy of education required a comprehensive approach: a combination of historical, epistemological analysis, logical reconstruction of his system, hermeneutics of texts, and comparison with other educational concepts. This allowed us to fully reveal his ideas and understand their relevance for modern philosophy of education.
Based on the presented research, it can be stated that Spinoza's ideas are popular in modern pedagogy, psychology, and social and human sciences, especially in the context of the formation of a responsible civil society. The harmony of modern principles of democratization of education and academic freedom with the denial of dogmatism and the violent imposition of thoughts by the Dutch thinker is shown. The importance of Spinozist analysis of affects and their role in cognition for modern philosophy of education and emotional intelligence is revealed.
Violeta Mikhailovna SkyrtachRoman Sergeevych Martynov

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1115

The article investigates the scientifically substantiated impact of physical activity on the mental health of track and field athletes in the context of intensive sports activities. The dual nature of physical activity is revealed: on the one hand, it contributes to a decrease in anxiety, depressive symptoms, improvement of mood and psychoemotional regulation; on the other hand, excessive or uncontrolled stress can lead to emotional exhaustion, burnout, and psychosomatic disorders. In the course of the study, modern scientific publications over the past five years were analyzed, which reveal interdisciplinary aspects of the impact of training stress on the mental state of athletes, in particular track and field athletes. The focus is on such key factors as intensity and distribution of the load, the role of self-efficacy, coaching, social environment, and rehabilitation after injuries. Modern models explaining the relationship between the training process and psychological parameters are presented: the adaptive resilience model, the psychophysiological model of load/recovery balance, the biopsychosocial approach.
Particular attention is paid to the system of psychoemotional support for athletes: diagnostics, individual psychological support, development of self-regulation skills, psychoeducation and multidisciplinary interaction. The feasibility of creating integrated programs aimed at developing mental resilience, preventing burnout and supporting the psychological well-being of athletes is substantiated. Prospects for further research are related to the adaptation of existing models to the specifics of athletics, as well as to the analysis of the effectiveness of psychoemotional support programs in professional sports.
Olena Gennadiivna Tkachuk

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1116

The article presents the hero’s journey, described by Joseph Campbell in his work «The Hero with a Thousand Faces», as a universal model that reflects the process of spiritual self-discovery and personality transformation. The model is based on archetypes, analysis of myths, legends and religious traditions of different cultures, where the hero goes through a series of stages that lead him to a deeper understanding of himself, the disclosure of his potential. The spiritual dimension of the model is that the hero’s journey is not only an external adventure, but also an internal process through which a person goes through to realize and reveal their true nature. It illustrates the stages of struggle with fears, selfishness, illusions and limitations, which ultimately leads to harmony with oneself and the world.
The main stages of the hero’s journey are examined, their characteristics are given, and questions for self-coaching are suggested that will help to more deeply understand and more effectively pass the main milestones of self-transformation. It is shown that the «Hero’s Path» model can become a powerful tool for the spiritual and moral education of the younger generation, as it stimulates self-knowledge and self-awareness of a young person who goes through their own path of growing up, which includes stages similar to the milestones of a hero’s journey. The model provides a clear and engaging metaphor for inner growth; teaches us to recognize difficulties as opportunities for spiritual growth; helps us see our own life as a meaningful story; and promotes the formation of moral stability and responsibility.
The idea that working with the monomyth model «The Hero’s Path» actualizes the value of heroism; promotes the development of social and emotional skills of children and youth; encourages people to seek meaning in everyday life, set goals and go towards them, overcoming challenges; encourages them to be useful to others, understanding their place in society. Various types of activities for pupils and students based on the Hero’s Path model are proposed, which can be applied in the educational process.
Tamara Georhiyivna TyurinaLiliana Hryhorivna Kudryk

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1117

The article examines the role of humanitarian knowledge in the process of formation of a personality capable of functioning effectively in a globalised world. It is substantiated that humanitarian disciplines - history, philosophy, cultural studies, sociology, political science - form the openness of worldview, critical thinking, ethical reflection and the ability to intercultural communication in higher education students. It is determined that these qualities are fundamental for the development of global consciousness, social responsibility and readiness for active participation in public life at the international level.
Particular attention is paid to the pedagogical conditions under which humanitarian knowledge contributes to the formation of a globally oriented personality. These conditions include an interdisciplinary approach, interactive teaching methods, problem-based learning, and participation in international educational programmes and projects. It is noted that it is important not only to transfer knowledge, but also to form values, the ability to self-reflection and understanding of the interdependence of humanity in the context of global challenges of our time. It is emphasised that it is humanitarian knowledge that shapes students' ability to think in terms of global interdependence and human solidarity.
The article also emphasises the importance of updating the content of humanities education in accordance with new educational challenges and socio-cultural realities of the XXI century. The necessity of active participation of teachers in the processes of forming critical and global consciousness, creating an open educational environment that stimulates dialogue, tolerance, creative thinking and flexibility is emphasised. Prospects for further research in the direction of humanitarian transformation of higher education in the context of digital globalisation, taking into account the challenges of war, environmental crises, information security and growing intercultural tensions, are outlined.
It is concluded that humanitarian education should become a central element in the formation of competencies of the future, such as critical and systemic thinking, tolerance, respect for cultural diversity, readiness for peacekeeping, sustainable development and preservation of universal values in the global context.
Ihor Volodymyrovych Fedorov

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1118

The article highlights the key aspects of the impact of digital transformation on conducting and choral education in the context of changes in the educational paradigm. The transformation of forms and methods of teaching disciplines of the conducting cycle is examined, in particular in the context of the implementation of distance and blended learning, which became widespread during the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to be actively used in the post-quarantine period. Attention is drawn to the new opportunities offered by the digital environment to increase the effectiveness of the educational process: the use of video recordings, online platforms, digital scores, tools for self-assessment, and formative evaluation.
Special attention is paid to the practical experience of organizing individual and group lessons with conducting students: the implementation of video portfolios, peer assessment, interactive simulators, and online examinations. The role of digital technologies in the formation of individual educational trajectories is analysed, allowing for the consideration of each student’s level of preparation, needs, and professional orientation. The conclusions substantiate the expediency of integrating digital tools into the system of arts education, provided that the artistic and interpretive content of conductor training is preserved.
Olha Dmytrivna Churikhova-KushnirZoia Vasylivna Sofronii

https://journals.snu.edu.ua/index.php/DOMTP_SNU/article/view/1119

The article raises an important issue of rethinking the global priority: from the dominance of economic growth, as the basis for human progress, to the recognition of culture as a key factor in sustainable and harmonious development. The author analyzes the contribution of the greatest economists to the formation of the economic paradigm, which, despite the material successes achieved, proved incapable of solving the growing global problems – environmental disasters, social inequality, and cultural degradation. An alternative is proposed – a transition to a cultural model of development, where culture is viewed as a «complex whole» and as a system that unites knowledge, beliefs, art, morality, customs and other aspects of social life. The author emphasizes that only culture is able to provide a holistic understanding of the world, restore the lost balance between man and nature, between technology and spirituality, between economics and moral values. Particular attention is paid to the need to develop cultural indicators that can more accurately reflect the real well-being of society than traditional economic metrics. It calls for the active participation of cultural, educational and governmental institutions in the creation of a «cultural era» where humanism, sustainability, creativity, diversity and spiritual development will be central.
Paul D.
