Diagnostics of transformations of the enterprise economic security system

Abstract

The article develops instruments and defines conceptual approaches to diagnostics of transformation processes in the system of economic security of enterprise. It has been determined that the system of economic security of enterprise is constantly under the influence of internal and external factors, which affects its status and management features. The study determines that in fact the system is always in a state of continuous transformation, which can be considered as a relatively short historical period during which such a system is updated. Understanding the essence of transformations and transformation processes within the economic security system is key to making and implementing effective management decisions, especially in the face of unpredictable factors.

The article analyses the use of traditional approaches to identifying such factors and threats. It is concluded that traditional approaches to identifying factors and threats limit the possibilities of managing and diagnosing transformation processes. The subject of ensuring economic security at the level of an individual enterprise is the economic security system, which is usually considered as an integral complex of interrelated elements. The key approaches to developing diagnostic tools for studying the transformations of the economic security system of enterprise are considered. The markers that signal their appearance are identified. These markers include: the content of the system; generalised characteristics of the system that change as a result of transformations; characteristics of the functioning of the economic security system in the context of its operating conditions; and the results of the system's functioning. The author analyses scientific and practical approaches and identifies key tools for implementing diagnostics in various areas of studying transformation processes. The directions of diagnostics of transformations of the system of economic security of enterprise have been allocated, which create the basis for the formation of a generalised algorithm for such diagnostics. An algorithm for diagnosing the transformations of the enterprise's economic security system is proposed, which has an alternative character and provides for the possibility of both sequential passage of all four defined directions and selective implementation of only some of them, depending on the goals and objectives of a particular study.
