Analytical support software for online store sales accounting

The paper discusses the design of an information and analytical system for accounting and forecasting sales of an online store in order to improve the efficiency of its management.
Based on the analysis of models and methods of designing an information system, it was decided to use a functional approach to modeling.
On the example of an online store of computer equipment, the analysis and modeling of business processes based on a functional approach in the notations IDEF0 and IDEF3 have been carried out.
A database in MySQL and the necessary software for records of trade transactions of an online store have been developed.
To solve problems of strategic management, the problem of development and implementation of a software module for forecasting sales in the management system of an online store is considered.
Methods and models of sales forecasting are analyzed on the example of an online computer hardware store. There is no seasonal factor in the dynamics of sales of computer equipment. Also, short-term forecasts are relevant for solving considered control problems. Therefore, it is recommended to use the forecasting method based on the autoregressive model. Variants of using autoregressive models of the 1st and 2nd orders are considered. The most adequate was the 1st order autoregressive model.
The software in C# for forecasting sales volumes based on an autoregressive model has been developed.
The developed software can be integrated into the information and analytical system for recording trade operations of an online computer equipment store. The scheme of integration of the developed software into the information-analytical management system of the online store is presented.
The result of the work is a project of an information and analytical system for accounting and forecasting sales of an online store of computer equipment. The project includes a database, software for data processing and a software module for analyzing and predicting the dynamics of changes in sales of an online store.
The implementation of the proposed tools will improve efficiency and quality of decision-making when managing an online store.
