Formatting Requirements and Submission Procedure Article requirements
When submitting an article to the editorial office, we would like to draw your attention to the following requirement: no more than one article by the same author (co-author) may be published in a single issue of the journal.
Article file name: <author's last name (first co-author), city>.docx.
for example – Petrov_Kyiv.docx.
The size of the article in .pdf format should not exceed 1.0 MB.
The article must include:
- Files of figures, diagrams, schemes, charts in *.jpg, *.wmf or *.tif formats, if they are included in the article and were created outside of MS Office programs (for proper content display).
- English version file named Author_name_city.doc. For example Petrov_Kyiv.doc.
It must contain information about ALL authors of the article in two languages (Ukrainian, English):
UKR:
- Full name of the author;
- Name of the organization they work at.
ENG:
- Full name of the author;
- Name of the organization they work at.
IMPORTANT: To upload your article to our server, the .pdf file must be <=1 MB. That is, your article in .pdf format with all figures must be <=1 MB.

Article text should be formatted on A4, portrait orientation with the following margins: top – 3 cm, bottom – 2.25 cm, left – 2 cm, right – 11 cm (typesetting format 80x245 mm). From the edge to the top header – 2 cm, to the bottom header – 1 cm, line spacing – 1.0. No widow or orphan lines. Automatic hyphenation (hyphenation zone width – 0.25 cm). Do not hyphenate words in uppercase. The article text must be formatted in Microsoft Word. The article is saved in *.docx format. Text is submitted in a SINGLE column.
Not allowed:
1. Breaking words with hyphens (-) or other characters.
2. Breaking paragraphs with any characters.
3. Inserting page, section, or column breaks.

Abstract in the language of the article
(at least 1800 characters without spaces: Times New Roman, size 9 pt, style –italic, justified, no paragraph indentation).
Keywords
(in the language of the article, no more than 7 words, on a new line: Times New Roman, size 9 pt, style –italic, justified, no paragraph indentation).
Main text of the article (Times New Roman, size 10 pt; style – regular; line spacing – 1.0; justified, paragraph indent – 0.75 cm, no widow or orphan lines).
Section titles (Introduction etc.) should be bold and placed at the beginning of the paragraph. The section text follows immediately after the heading on the same line.
Main text includes the following sections:
Introduction – statement of the problem, general objectives, connection with important scientific or practical tasks, analysis of recent publications (at least 3 articles) addressing the problem, statement of the article’s aim (new paragraph – «The aim of this work is ...») and tasks;
Main body of the research – results discussed in the article.
Formulas and symbols must be typed ONLY in Microsoft Equation or MathType with the following parameters: style – mathematical; font sizes:

Formulas must not be distorted (object format → size → scale → 100%)
Formulas must stay within text boundaries (80 mm). Long formulas should be split across several lines.
Formula numbering: in parentheses, no paragraph indentation, right-aligned.
Figures, diagrams, and charts should be placed directly in the text without text wrapping (format → position → wrapping → in text) in the order they are cited, immediately after the first reference. Figures should be in .jpg, .wmf, or .tif formats. Figures created in Word must be grouped and set without wrapping or placed in a frame. Objects in figures must not have fills, shadows, or colored text.
Each figure must have a caption.
Figures must not be distorted (same width and height scale).
Figure caption text, number, and title: Times New Roman, size 9 pt; regular; line spacing 1.0, centered.
Tables. Tables should be titled with the word "Table" (font – regular TNR 9 pt, right-aligned) followed by the table number without a period. The next line contains the table title, capitalized (max 3 lines), font – bold TNR 9 pt, centered, no period. Column and row headers – regular TNR 9 pt. Tables are numbered with Arabic numerals and placed after the first citation.
Ideally, tables, figures, and formulas should be 80 mm wide; if not possible, 160 mm is allowed. Height must not exceed 230 mm.
Tables, figures, and formulas are separated from the main text by a blank line.
