Abstract

The digitalization of legal work is one of the key
areas of modern jurisprudence, driven by global
automation processes and the integration of
information technologies into legal practice. The
implementation of electronic justice, LegalTech
solutions, artificial intelligence, and automated legal
process management systems contributes to improving
the efficiency of legal work, expediting court
proceedings, and expanding access to justice. At the
same time, digitalization presents new challenges,
particularly in the areas of legal regulation,
cybersecurity, confidentiality of personal data, the
ethical use of algorithms in decision-making, and
ensuring equal rights for parties in the digital
environment. This article analyzes the main aspects of
the digital transformation of legal work in Ukraine
and in the international legal framework, exploring
regulatory acts governing electronic document
management, e-justice, and artificial intelligence in
jurisprudence. The author examines the challenges of
automating legal processes, identifies potential risks
associated with delegating legal decision-making to
digital algorithms, and evaluates the evolving role of
legal professionals in the dynamic landscape of
digitalization. Special attention is given to
cybersecurity issues in judicial information systems,
the need for harmonizing digital legal standards at the
international level, and the development of digital competencies among legal practitioners. The
proposed vectors for the development of legal
digitalization include the improvement of regulatory
frameworks, the enhancement of cybersecurity
measures, the integration of artificial intelligence into
legal practice while adhering to ethical standards, and
the digital adaptation of legal education. Thus, the
digitalization of legal work must be based on the
principles of the rule of law, justice, and human rights
protection, ensuring the effective integration of technology into the justice system.
