The state of the merchant fleet of Ukraine and its influence on securing the rights of Ukrainian seamen

Abstract

Ukraine is a sea power and the necessary condition for its economic interests is the development of the sea-economic complex. Today, after the secondary large potential of the marine fleet, the revival of the sea complex still begins. However, in our country there are no important laws that regulate this industry. In addition, Ukraine is one of the five main countries, provides the world market with maritime personnel. With this, there was an urgent need to study this problematic with the aim of establishing legal conditions for the implementation of priority tasks for the development of merchant shipping in Ukraine.
