Non-governmental pension funds: experience of Poland for Ukraine

Abstract

Non-state pension funds (NPFs) in Ukraine have not yet become mass phenomena, and the able-bodied population has not shown an active interest in the NPF. This order of things deprives the economy of an important source of investment resources. At present, the problem of converting NPFs into active financial market participants that they have in economically developed countries, such as Poland, is relevant. The purpose of this article is to determine the essence of the theoretical foundations of the functioning of non-state pension funds in Ukraine. Explore the Polish experience of building a pension system in Poland and the peculiarities of the functioning of Polish non-core pension funds. To analyze the main indicators of the activity of non-state pension funds in Ukraine, as well as identify the main problems and prospects for their development.
