Modern types of social security providers

Abstract

The article examines the subject composition of social security relations, the legal grounds for classifying different participants as one of these subjects. A brief description of the legal status of individuals and legal entities in the field of social security, the differences in their functions and roles in the system of social protection of the population is presented as well. The author also formulates and justifies his own classification of social security subjects, using such determining factors of differentiation as the fulfillment (non-fulfillment) of the functions of the state during participation in the legal relationship, and the immediacy of providing (receiving) social security.
