DEMATERIALIZATION AS A PROCESS OF CHANGING THE FORM OF EXISTENCE OF SECURITIES
Abstract
Modernity puts forward qualitatively new conditions for the existence and functioning of securities, which in the stock markets of most countries are in non-documentary form as dematerialized securities existing in the form of accounts in the system of depository accounting of securities. However, the process of dematerialization does not mean the loss of the holder of property rights incorporated in the securities, but is a process that determined its transformation in accordance with the needs of modern times.
Key words: non-documentary securities, dematerialization, transfer of securities from a documentary form of existence to a non-documentary form.
