Abstract

The article is devoted to revealing the peculiarities
of the formation of an ideological approach to
understanding social security. Some problems of
social security of the person, society and the state are
opened. Philosophical approaches to understanding
the concept of "Social Security" are considered. The
development of sociological knowledge in the twentieth
century about social security in the state is highlighted.
The author defines that security is a very complex
socio-political phenomenon, which only at first
glance seems clear to everyone, but it is interpreted
in practical, everyday life by each person differently.
This prompts us to turn to the history of the emergence
of philosophical ideas on security issues. The
first is the stage of antiquity, when the ancient philosopher
Plato considered society (state) and man as
two symmetrical and complementary systems. Interesting
views on the further development of the security
system began to emerge among researchers in the
late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The end
of the twentieth century drew the minds of scientists
to solve the problem of the threat to the individual by
leveling economic inequality and influencing the
market. In the developed theories, many scientists
propose to ensure maximum justice in the distribution
of goods, the establishment of state control over
the abuse of market freedoms. Gradually, the realization
was formed that time requires new approaches
to the analysis of social processes and phenomena in
the field of security. It is also worth noting that the
development of sociological knowledge in the twentieth
century has led to an objective conclusion that
one of the main sources of threats to state security
are social contradictions that arise within a particular
social system, but not all contradictions, but only
those that lead to social conflict. In our opinion, the
study of the concept of "social security" as a multifaceted
phenomenon should be conducted at the level
of "general", "special" and "individual". It is determined that the concept of multifactorial approach, which includes the analysis of the impact on the social subject, phenomenon, process of a set of economic, apolitical, cultural and moral factors, is firmly established in the modern methodology spread in the West.
Key words: social security, society, state, social security.
