EFORM OF THE INSTITUTE OF THE ACCUSERS OF CORRUPTION IN UKRAINE: LONG-TERM CHANGES OR SIMULATION OF PROGRESS

Abstract

The relevance of the research is connected
with the need for a comprehensive analysis of the
legal institute of the corruption denunciators, as a
new phenomenon in the field of combating corruption,
providing recommendations on improving the
provisions and eliminating contradictions between
the current legislation in the field of prevention and
fight against corruption. The object of the research is
the legal status of the accusers of corruption, the
mechanisms of its protection and restoration, the
legal interaction with other participants of anticorruption
legal relations. The subject of the study is
theoretical and practical aspects of regulating the
legal personality of the accusers of corruption, the
norms of the current legislation and the law enforcement
practice regarding the implementation of
the provisions of the institute of accusers of corruption.
The purpose of the study is to analyze recent legislative changes according to Ukrainian corruption denunciators for the purpose of effectiveness and availability of gaps, to determine directions of development of legal regulation of the institute. In order to achieve this goal, the main international legal acts, legislation of Ukraine concerning the legal status of the accusers of corruption were identified and analyzed; identified gaps in national legislation in the field of functioning of the Institute of accusers of corruption and suggested ways of solving them.
