PROSPECTS OF ESTABLISHING MILITARY POLICE IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article, taking into account the historical aspect of the problem and international experience, highlights the grounds, arguments in support of and objections to legislative initiatives on the creation of military police as an important constituent element in the system of law enforcement agencies in modern armed forces; the role of the military police in ensuring military law and order, including preventive measures, activities during military conflicts and in peacetime is considered; organizational and functional features of military police operations abroad.
