MAIN INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS IN THE FIELD OF WORK OF TRANSPORT EMPLOYEES

The article examines international standards in
the field of labor of transport workers, which are
enshrined in international acts and international
documents. It was concluded that it is quite important
for Ukraine to bring the norms of national law closer
to international ones, especially in the field of
ensuring the labor relations of transport workers,
since the transport industry is developing quite quickly
and is already actively going beyond the borders of
our state. Scientists emphasized the importance of
research, international standards for the regulation of
labor relations in relation to transport workers, since
such international standards in relation to transport
workers have not been comprehensively studied, and
the general international standards that are applied in
the field of labor law cannot always fully reflect the
peculiarities of labor regulation transport workers. In
addition, the lack of application in Ukraine of special
international legal standards regarding the labor
regulation of transport workers significantly affects
the state of compliance with the social and labor rights
of transport workers. The article provides a detailed
review of the international labor standards of
transport workers and international standards in the
field of direct labor, that is, those standards that relate
to the direct labor process of workers and are
essential for the safe process of employees performing
their labor function. Within the framework of the study
of international standards in the field of direct labor, the consolidation of international standards and international norms in the following legal relations was considered: regarding the legal registration of labor rights of employees; observance of labor and social rights of transport workers; observance of the established age for employment at transport enterprises; observance of proper and safe working conditions of employees; in the field of occupational health and safety; regarding assistance in the implementation of employment of transport workers.
