The potential of industrial parks in the region: current state and development prospects

The article is dedicated to exploring the potential and prospects for the development of industrial parks in the Zakarpattia region as an effective tool for regional development. It analyzes international experience in the creation and management of industrial parks, identifying key factors for their successful operation. The main prerequisites for the development of industrial parks in Zakarpattia are identified.
Based on current data, an analysis of the specialization of existing industrial parks is conducted. The main problems hindering the development of industrial parks are identified, including imperfect regulatory frameworks, insufficient state support, limited funding, and infrastructural challenges. It is established that addressing these issues will enhance the efficiency of industrial parks and their attractiveness to investors.
A concept for involving the intellectual capital of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the development of industrial parks through the creation of a centralized database and the implementation of adaptation programs is proposed. Special attention is given to the opportunities for involving the intellectual capital of IDPs to strengthen the labor potential of industrial parks. The necessity of creating a database of highly qualified IDPs who are not working in their field is substantiated, which will optimize personnel provision. A comprehensive approach to the integration of IDPs is proposed, including informational support, professional training, adaptation programs, and the creation of favorable working conditions. Developing partnerships with universities and educational institutions will ensure the preparation of qualified personnel, contributing to the long-term competitiveness of industrial parks and the economic growth of the region.
Addressing the identified problems and leveraging the intellectual capital of IDPs will enable the Zakarpattia region to enhance its industrial potential and attract more investments. The proposed measures are expected to have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the region, fostering sustainable growth and improving the quality of life for its residents.
