Methods and approaches to assessing the innovation and investment potential of an enterprise

The article studies scientific and methodical approaches to assessment of the innovation and investment potential of enterprise. It has been determined that evaluation of the innovation and investment potential of enterprise is a complex economic task, since its effectiveness depends on a clear understanding of the nature of this element of the overall potential of enterprise, the correct choice of evaluation methods and accurate determination of indicators. The study of the development of innovation and investment potential is of particular relevance and requires a thorough analysis of factors of both the external and internal environment. Analyzing the scientific approaches to structuring the innovation potential of an enterprise, the author concludes that there is considerable variability in the definition of its components. Different authors have different names and content of structural elements, which complicates a unified approach to assessing this potential. The specifics of applying approaches to assessing innovation and investment potentials separately are highlighted, taking into account differences in their content and functional purpose. The analyzed scientific approaches to assessing the innovation and investment potential of enterprises show that there are common methods and indicators, which made it possible to generalize and formalize a single approach to assessing the innovation and investment potential of an enterprise. The article considers approaches that do not take into account the risks associated with innovation and investment activities, which is of particular relevance in the context of martial law and post-war recovery. As a result of the study, the article identifies and systematizes the components of the innovation potential of an enterprise, which are allocated by domestic scholars, and also forms a generalized list of elements of the innovation and investment potential. Based on the results of the analysis of modern scientific approaches, the article analyzes modern scientific approaches to assessment of innovation and investment potential of enterprise. Directions for improving the theoretical and methodological approach to assessing the innovation and investment potential in the context of post-conflict transformation are substantiated. The mandatory inclusion of such elements as resources, opportunities, capabilities and risks in the assessment system is proposed.
