Abstract

The article deals with the essence and features of a medical institution of higher education as an institution for the formation of professional qualities in future masters of medicine.
In connection with the modernization of the educational system of Ukraine and its entry into the European educational space, the problem of creating in the educational process of a higher education institution of such conditions that would contribute to the effective formation of the professional qualities of future specialists becomes especially relevant.
To achieve the aim, a set of research methods is used: theoretical (analysis, comparison, generalization and systematization of scientific data).
It is revealed that the pedagogical conditions for the formation and development of the professional qualities of students in the medical field provide for the presence of such factors as: provision of humanitarian and educational work; humanization and humanitarization of education; the presence of a humanistic concept of upbringing and education; availability of information; provision of leisure facilities; comfort of the educational setting; responsibility of the university for the training of highly qualified specialist; the student's own efforts for self-development and self-improvement of the individual; organization of comprehensive interaction between culture and education; recognition of human and national culture as a factor in the development of education; the presence of a system of social partnership.

It is noted that the personal training of students has become important during the professional training of future doctors at the medical university. The purpose of personal training among medical students is to form both professionally significant personality traits and its humanistic orientation, psychological culture and the ability for tolerant interaction of the future doctors with the patients.
It is established that the medical institution of higher education is an upbringing and educational institute. It is one of the microfactors of personality socialization characterized by the fact that priority is given to professional medical education in conjunction with the formation of morality in future masters of medicine.
