FORMATION OF STUDENTS’ RESEARCH COMPETENCE IN THE CLASSES OF MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE THROUGH DESIGNING

Abstract

The authors of the article examine the formation of prospective primary school teachers research competence in the classes of the modern Ukrainian language in accordance with the requirements of the standard of higher education in specialty 013 Primary education for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education (2021). Solution to this problem is captured, the author draws attention to the practical experience shared by practicing teachers, the relevance of using the project method in higher educational institutions. The article presents an analysis of various aspects of pedagogical design, reveals the essence of the project method, design technology and the importance of forming teamwork skills, the ability to search, process and analyze information, the ability to design centers for training, education and development of applicants for primary education. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the stages of the project implementation. From a practical point of view, thematic planning of work on the creative project "Phonetics" is presented. The system of tasks for organizing and independent research activities of future primary school teachers provides for the use of methods and techniques of mnemonics, the development of tests, the compilation of an algorithm for the characteristics of vowels and consonants, the design of a portfolio, and the protection of the project by presenting the result of the work. A link is provided to fragments of a lesson on the modern Ukrainian language, in particular on phonetics (from work experience), which will help navigate in the construction of training, planning work through the project method, contribute to the formation of search and research competence and the introduction of the project method into the educational process of higher educational institutions.
