The use of information technology in the correction of speech disorders in primary school children is becoming an increasingly important area of speech therapy practice. In this article, the importance of involving information technology in the educational process is discussed, as such disorders pose a serious problem that can significantly affect academic success and social adaptation.
One of the most important aspects of using information technology is the ability to create an interactive and engaging learning environment. Information technology provides an opportunity to create interesting and enjoyable learning games, apps and web platforms that are aimed at developing speech and encouraging children to learn. Parsers and virtual communication platforms enable speech therapists to more accurately diagnose speech problems and develop individual correctional plans for each child.
The article provides a thorough analysis of typical speech disorders that occur in primary school children. This analysis covers a variety of aspects, from underdeveloped vocabulary and articulation problems to dyslexic errors and phonetic-phonemic underdevelopment. Understanding these disorders allows speech therapists to choose methods and tools for correcting children's speech problems more effectively. The advantages and disadvantages of using information technology in the context of speech therapy practice are also identified.
