THE POTENTIAL OF ATTRACTING STUDENTS TO ENSURING THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF VOLODYMYR DAHL EAST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state and approaches to the selection of promising vectors of systemic transformation of displaced universities in the format of modern challenges and the use of students’ potential. The subject of the study is approaches to effective vectors of transformation of the displaced university based on end-to-end coordination and use of students’ potential. The object of research is the factor components of the construction of integral systems according to the modular principle. 86% of students rate the level of the department as good and sufficient. 43% of students identify a leader in the areas of "soft skills" and implementation of initial approaches to tutoring. 46% of students single out a leader in the direction of "hard skills" and transfer, and 40% of students single out a system leader in the direction of a mentor (tutor). The share of students who chose supervisors of the qualifying work is 80%. The final rating of teachers identified active generators of innovative solutions and methodologists at the department level (the sum of leader rankings – 102). The specifics of the pedagogical orientation of teachers in the main areas were analyzed. The analysis of the priorities of the OPP 201 "Agronomy" courses showed a positive perception in 59%, and the absence of uninteresting disciplines in 57% of respondents. 86% of students of higher education rate the level of acquired knowledge as good and sufficient. 80% of masters are ready for further cooperation with the department as future stakeholders. The conducted questionnaire demonstrated the significant potential of students in ensuring the quality of the educational process and is an important component of the implementation of the proposals of the NAZYAVO expert commission from OPP 201 "Agronomy" with the development strategy of the Department of Agronomy and Forestry.
