Abstract

Today, the concept of "responsibility" has received the status of ontological, as it is perceived as existential, moral imperative, absolute. Scientists understand it not only as a basic concept of normative ethics, but mostly as an important category of being, existence; as a condition for the survival of mankind; as a life strategy of man. We consider responsibility as a defining feature of a positive personality as integrity of the highest level, possessing human qualities, the ability to live and function effectively in the world of life, manage one’s life, develop and realize one’s ideal and spiritual potential. A positive personality is a holistic harmonious personality with a holistic picture of the world, which organically combines intellectual, moral, aesthetic, spiritual values, which is ready to selflessly serve people, show the highest moral and aesthetic qualities: love, conscience, compassion, humanism - and be responsible , involved in the preservation of the whole world as a universal home of existence, to feel a citizen of the country and at the same time – a citizen of the universe. Today, more than ever, the actual is truth voiced by J.-P. Sartre: "Our responsibility is much greater than we might think, because it extends to all humanity - by choosing oneself, one chooses all humanity."

We understand responsibility as the intention to overcome the most global crisis of humanity, which largely consists in the separation and rupture of man and the world; as hope, anticipation for overcoming it; as a value-semantic support that will ensure the spiritual security and survival of mankind.
