THE ROLE OF THE KEY COMPETENCIES OF THE EDUCATOR-COACH IN THE ORGANIZATION OF THE SELF-EDUCATION OF PARTICIPANTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

The article reveals the importance of self-education in the development of personality in the modern era. The opinion is substantiated that the activation of self-education of children and youth with the involvement of coaching approaches and tools can help in self-affirmation and self-realization of this vulnerable social category.

The role of pedagogical coaching as an innovative educational technology in the implementation of psychological and pedagogical support of self-education of the student's personality is shown. 8 key competencies of a teacher-coach are characterized as components of the coaching competence of a modern teacher, and their importance for democratization and humanization of the educational process is shown.

The need to develop the key competencies of a teacher-coach through the system of postgraduate pedagogical education is substantiated. The possibilities of developing coaching competencies are shown on the example of the activity of the author's creative workshop “Coaching technologies in the education of schoolchildren”, which functioned at the Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education (2021). Based on the analysis of the results of the participants of the creative workshop, the expediency of using coaching approaches is shown scientific and methodical support of the teacher’s professional development in the system of professional development of pedagogical workers. The positive influence of the coaching style of interaction on the personal and professional development of the teacher, the level of his pedagogical skill was noted.
