Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of an important aspect of the influence of the military conflict on the development of coherent speech of children with special educational needs. Modernization of the system of inclusive education in Ukraine, changing its guidelines for personal development, ensuring the psychological comfort of the student and forming their intellectual potential requires changes in the learning process.

The article deals with complex issues related to the impact of war events on children's speech development. The authors analyze the individual characteristics of the studied group in the context of war stress and an unstable social situation and find that war events can significantly complicate the process of communication and speech development of children with special educational needs. Accordingly, this requires attention and support from specialists in the field of education and psychology and poses challenges that children face during military conflicts (communication disorders, delay in speech development, development of post-traumatic stress disorder, insufficient level of "psychological well-being") .

The authors of the article offer approaches that contribute to the support of children with speech impediments during a military conflict - they put forward support strategies aimed at optimizing the educational process (including individualized speech development programs, psychological support, work with a speech therapist, the use of innovative methods, etc.). The results of the work can be useful for specialists in the field of education, psychology and social support, as well as for the development of effective inclusive education programs aimed at the development of coherent speech of children with disabilities in countries experiencing military conflicts.
