Abstract

The article is dedicated to the pressing issue of modern educational institutions – the formation of the foundations of spirituality and the spiritually-practical position of students, which is an essential and integral component of the education system in Ukraine. The paper emphasizes the importance of integrating moral and spiritual components into the content of education. The article also addresses the creation of an educational environment that could influence the development of the foundations of spirituality and the spiritually-practical position of primary school students. Special attention is given to the development of spiritual competence among learners, which is an important component of the new Ukrainian school and modern pedagogy. Spiritual competence is a vital part of life competence, which includes the cultivation of moral and spiritual qualities and the ability to navigate complex life situations. In this context, the article aims to identify innovative approaches to organizing the educational space in primary schools. The work presents a model for integrating Christian values into school subjects. Such integration involves viewing educational goals and subject content, as well as relationships within the school community, from the perspective of God's intentions for human life. This integration engages students in a Christian way of thinking in education, and pedagogical activity encourages the understanding of Christian virtues and
corresponding actions. The main research methods are methods of analysis and synthesis. Thus, the article proposes new approaches to organizing the educational process for cultivating the spiritually-practical position of primary school students, which include the integration of Christian values into the educational process and emphasize the importance of creating a supportive educational environment for forming spiritually mature individuals capable of acting according to moral principles in a rapidly changing world. The materials of the article may be useful for teachers in integrating spiritual values into educational
subjects.
