Abstract

The article substantiates the principles of pedagogical skills of a composer and conductor A. Biloshytskyi that, in the opinion of the authors, are of a wider significance not only in the field of musical pedagogy but in general theoretical one. This is the first article of the research project " R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music: pedagogical history" which provides for the mastery of the pedagogical heritage of this higher educational institution. Thus, the historical aspect of this search position becomes the basis for theoretical research conclusions. The basis of this approach is the use of a wide range of thoughts and ideas in the pedagogical activity of musicians based on pedagogical principles, which have acquired universal significance, primarily in their humanistic orientation over the centuries. A. Biloshytskyi made a significant contribution to improving pedagogical skills of his colleagues and followers with the principles of such orientation, primarily due to the extraordinary innovative approach to the process of transferring his rich experience, which was constantly supplemented with approaches and ideas related to purely musical knowledge and intuitions and with the worldview guidelines of the philosophical level. The pedagogue's personality played a key role in this process because the formation of the spiritual culture of future music teachers without such a component is not possible. The chronological factor gives additional significance to the innovations of the pedagogue A. Biloshytskyi, as a significant part of his activity was during the Soviet times, and this is even more valuable in terms of the prospects of forming a school of pedagogics of independent Ukraine.
