Abstract

The research substantiates that the lack of spirituality, unformed culture of peace, and underdeveloped value-oriented intelligence are interrelated factors that result in social disharmony and can lead to tragic consequences such as Russia’s immoral aggression against Ukraine. In view of the above, the purpose of the research is to demonstrate the conceptual capabilities of the value-oriented intelligence in the context of personal worldview development in the post-war world.
The main hypothesis of the research is the thesis of a direct connection between the developed value-oriented intelligence and the level of a culture of peace. The philosophical and theoretical basis of the research includes 1) developments in the discourse of spirituality and a culture of peace, 2) the results of scientific discussions in the field of studying intelligence and its non-academic forms. The research methods are determined by their theoretical nature.

The research shows that the potential of the value-oriented intelligence regarding a culture of peace is due to its specific nature. The research has proved that the formation of the personal value-oriented intelligence opens the way to positive interaction with other people through the correct interpretation of the value aspects of their life positions.
For the first time in the scientific literature, the research has substantiated the thesis that a developed value-oriented intelligence, the motivational component of which includes humanistic values and values of peace, can act as a means of individual self-improvement and social engineering. The study has showed that the formation of a person with a developed value-oriented intelligence is one of the prerequisites for the creation of social space, which minimizes the possibility of value conflicts and conflicts as reasons for war.
Based on the substantiated generalizations, the research concludes that the further theoretical elaboration of the concept of the value-oriented intelligence through the identification of its fundamental characteristics, as well as the development of tools for its empirical diagnosis is a relevant scientific task.
