CREATIVE SELF-EXPRESSION OF MUSIC AND PEDAGOGICAL EMPLOYEES IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE PRC THROUGH POPULAR MUSIC

The article reveals the creative self-expression of musical and pedagogical workers in higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China by means of pop music. Attention is focused on the role of pop music as a means of expressing the creative potential of music teachers working in higher educational institutions of the People's Republic of China. Important aspects of creative self-expression, such as the choice of repertoire, arrangement of musical compositions, interpretation and innovations in performance practice, the role of creative self-expression in music-pedagogical activity, definition of general cultural competences, evaluation of approaches to learning, development of programs and methods, are analyzed. This may include the development of innovative educational materials, the use of interactive technologies, the organization of creative workshops, the creation of specialized courses or seminars aimed at the development of creative abilities and self-expression of students.
The importance of creative self-expression in the process of training music-pedagogical workers is also revealed, and existing problems and shortcomings that complicate this process are revealed. The need to develop new approaches, programs and methods that would help to effectively form the readiness for creative self-expression in students studying in music and pedagogical institutions of higher education of the PRC, which may include the development of creative skills, the use of innovative approaches to learning and the organization of creative projects, is indicated. The importance of this formation of readiness for creative self-expression is emphasized, as it contributes to the development of the creative personality of students and prepares them for future professional activities in the music-pedagogical field.
The importance of pop music as a means for the creative development of musical and pedagogical workers, contributing to their self-expression and self-realization, is revealed. The study is based on the use of theoretical research methods and has practical implications for music educators, students of music faculties, as well as for those who are interested in improving approaches to the training of music educators in China and who wish to expand their knowledge of pop music as a medium creative expression.
