Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the formation of informational and communicative competence (hereinafter - ICC) of junior border guard service inspectors and outlines ways to solve this problem in the process of professional training in departmental educational institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (hereinafter - SBGSU). It was determined that the intensive development of information and communication technologies and modern telecommunication systems in the field of border protection constantly affects the increase in requirements for junior inspectors of the border service regarding the informational and communicative component of the individual's professional competence. Features of the modern professional activity of the junior staff of the State Border Guard Service require them to be an information-competent person, which requires the skills of effective interaction with the information environment, which involves the achievement of a certain level of information-communication competence. The main factors of strengthening the role of the ICC of the junior border guard service inspectors at the current stage of development of the border agency are highlighted: the active development of information and communication technologies (further - ICT) and their application in the military and professional activities of the personnel of the SBGSU; constant increase in the amount of technical and military-professional information necessary to ensure effective operational and service activities of junior border guards; expansion of the functions of the junior staff of the SBGSU in matters of the use of information and technical means of professional activity; the rapid development of innovative processes in the field of professional training of the junior border guard service inspectors, which involves the preparation of the teaching staff of departmental educational institutions of the SBGSU to work in the modern informational and educational environment of educational institutions using ICT. It has been proven that ensuring the development of the ICT will allow junior inspectors of the border service to meet the requirements of the time, especially in the conditions of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and to keep up with the development of modern ICT.
