The article offers an update of the aesthetic-educational process of student youth using audio theater communication. A range of problems requiring immediate solution is outlined. Among them: the dominance of visual media over text media and, hence, speech negligence, which harms positive communication and the way of interaction between people, primitivization of perception and thinking.
It is assumed that one of the powerful means of overcoming this picture can be the audio-media space, in particular audio theatrical communication, which relies on such means of expression as voice contrasts, shades, semitones, etc., helping students to hear through the voice of a person, his destiny, and creatively realize the values of real life.
Using the examples of the newly developed integration of theatrical audio art in a high school lesson, options are presented for creating an atmosphere of artistic communication among students, who tune in to the perception and development of their own value-aesthetic self-determination.
These ways involve listening and the opportunity to participate in the creation of an audio theatrical product based on the material of studying the art of the European cultural region. Creative tasks designed for imitative and interpretive activity of students in the process of individual collective theatrical creativity are proposed.
