SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL OF MILITARY LEADERSHIP

The article is devoted to the study of modern scientific views and approaches to the realization of the spiritual potential of military leadership as a leading factor in the personal and professional development of servicemen, further professionalization of the Ukrainian army, and personnel strengthening of the management system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The theoretical foundations of the raised problem are analyzed, the problematic issues of the development of military leadership as a driving human-centric innovation, the practical embodiment of the spiritual potential of a military leader in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war are actualized.
The author of the article defined the essence of the spiritual potential of military leadership, which is an integral unity of opportunities that the leader is able to realize thanks to his integrally formed leadership qualities: worldview, moral-ethical, emotional-volitional, intellectual, cultural-aesthetic, communicative-etiquette, mentoring. The isolated components were briefly analyzed and it was found that the spiritual potential is formed in the process of purposeful training, development and upbringing based on the actualization of leadership abilities, deepens thanks to continuous self-education, self-development and self-education of a military leader. Using the example of a leading military university of Ukraine, the system of developing the spiritual potential of leader officers is characterized, which integrates formal (educational classes) and informal education (leadership courses), educational work (group and mass educational events) with cadets and students of the National Defense University of Ukraine. It is emphasized separately that the spiritual maturity of a military leader is revealed in his willingness, together with his like-minded people, to create an open space for trustful communication, exchange of creative ideas and advanced experience, inspired service (work), which strengthens the team spirit and at the same time encourages each serviceman to reveal his own leadership potential. The main conditions for achieving spiritual maturity by military leaders are formulated.
