It is obvious that nowadays smartphones play a huge role in the life of society. And of course, this primarily concerns young people. It is difficult to find a young person who does not use various services for online communication, such as social networks or messengers. Such services currently allow you to create groups of people based on common interests, where they can exchange various information, communicate, discuss or simply receive informational materials from the owner of the community. Now, automated systems are also gaining more and more popularity, which allow you to receive this or that information at the user's request without the direct participation of the owner of the community. Such systems are called chatbots.
It is clear that such chatbots can greatly simplify the work of the community owner and free him from the need to answer the same questions individually to each user. For example, an Internet provider can set up a chatbot to answer the most common questions, such as “Find out the account balance”, “Find out the tariffs available for connection”, “Contact details”, etc.; a dentist’s office can use a chatbot to automate customer registration, provide information about the types and costs of services, or information about the doctors working in the facility.
Of course, with certain adaptation, chatbots can also be used in the educational process, including in general secondary education institutions. This article considers the possibility of using the Telegram chatbot by computer science teachers to organize the educational process.
Various methods of creating chatbots for the Telegram messenger are considered and their main advantages and disadvantages are given. A comparative analysis of various tools was carried out and recommendations were made regarding the use of certain tools by informatics teachers in general secondary education institutions when organizing the educational process.
