The experience of the Republic of Poland in the axiological context of professional training of future history teachers is considered and the importance of the value-motivational aspect in the educational process of forming professional competence in historical teachers is accentuated. The importance of acquiring axiological competences by future history teachers is highlighted, which is a relevant factor for their pedagogical activity in general secondary education institutions.
